Delmarva Cougar Club members participated in a July 20, 2008, autocross sponsored by the Capital Driving Club outside Harry Grove Stadium, a minor league ballpark in Frederick, Md. The big Cats competed favorably with a wide selection of other cars that turned out, including exotics, sports sedans, other vintage muscle cars and tuners. Even a modified, full-sized station wagon competed, posting some of the quickest times of the day.
